There’s something special about autumn. The air begins to cool, the colors become richer, and our homes begin to feel a little more inviting.
For me, the season starts in September, which also happens to be my birthday month! It’s one of my favorite times of the year, and I always look forward to transitioning my home for fall.
I enjoy bringing in rich seasonal colors, changing out decorative pillows, rearranging a few favorite pieces, and creating spaces that feel warm and welcoming.
And Sundays? Those are perfect for curling up with a good Hallmark movie, finding a little seasonal inspiration, and enjoying a slower afternoon.
The Beauty of Gathering Together
One of my favorite things about this time of year is preparing for the holidays and spending time with family.
There’s something comforting about a kitchen filled with the aroma of freshly baked apple pie or sweet potato pie. I especially enjoy the moments when we’re all cooking together, sharing stories, laughing, teasing one another, and simply enjoying being in the same space.
Those are the moments that make this season so meaningful to me.

Inspired by the Colors of the Season
As a floral designer, autumn holds a special place in my creative heart.
I love watching the foliage transition into vibrant shades of amber, rust, burgundy, gold, and deep red. The textures become more interesting, and nature seems to welcome the boldest combinations of color.
What inspires me most is how the changing season reminds us of the beauty of God’s creation. Even as nature transforms, something beautiful is unfolding.
That same appreciation for color, texture, and natural movement inspires my floral designs.
